Nivalis Nights trailers and official videos
The main trailer for Nivalis Nights is the release date trailer, which revealed the new name and the launch date. The studio and publisher have posted six official videos: that trailer twice, A Day In The Life and three short Q&A videos. A gameplay trailer also premiered at gamescom.
The release date trailer
The narration sets up the start of the story: “You’re taking over my old noodle bar. Ramen Noir.” It goes on to say that Ava will look after you, and names the fear in the city, a name only whispered on the streets: Aseptic.
505 Games uploaded the same trailer to its own channel, at the same length.
A Day In The Life
Two minutes of the city, carried by music with almost no dialogue. It is a peek at what a typical day could look like, starting with the keys to your first apartment. The gameplay page uses it too.
The Q&A series
Three short videos, each answering one question in the developers’ narration.
The second video covers what the businesses page goes into, and the third is the short version of getting around.
On the Steam page
The Steam store page carries one video, the Nivalis Nights Date Reveal Trailer.
The gamescom gameplay trailer
A short gameplay cut shown during the Future Games Show broadcast at gamescom, under the current name, on the show’s own channel.
Older trailers from events
Two earlier trailers were shown at broadcasts under the old name, Nivalis, and live on the event hosts’ channels rather than the studio’s. Both predate the rename; the name change page explains the switch.
