Nivalis Nights platforms

On 29 September Nivalis Nights launches on one platform: Windows PC, through Steam. The Epic Games Store follows later with no date. For PS5, Xbox and Switch the studio has one answer, that PC comes first and it is looking into other platforms. It has promised none of them.

What the statuses mean

“Being looked into” means the studio is considering a platform: no port is announced, and it has not said no. “Not addressed” means neither company has mentioned it. The one firm no-for-now is macOS and Linux, and the studio will post on its social channels if that changes.

The DualSense line is not a PS5 version

The Steam page lists DualSense controller support. That covers PlayStation controllers plugged into a PC. It is a Steam input feature and says nothing about a PlayStation release. The PS5 page has more.

Cloud streaming

NVIDIA has put the Steam version on its list of games coming to GeForce NOW this month. Once it is in the library, you can stream the copy you own on a Mac, a Chromebook or a phone. What you need and which devices it covers are on the GeForce NOW page; the Mac page has the studio’s answer on native builds.
